I start my routine by moisturising my face with the Avène 'Cleanance Expert'. It's a really good moisturiser for those who's struggled with acne. (I used to struggle with it but I took a medicine that my dermatologist prescribed me. She also recommended me to use that moisturiser after the treatment.)
The next step I take is priming my face. I first apply the Benefit
'Porefessional' primer on my T-zone and then I spray my face with the MAC 'Prep+ Prime Fix+'. I love to use this combination. For me those two products work the best to keep my make-up from creasing during the day.
Once that is done, I start applying my foundation with a Beautyblender. I use the 'Born This Way' foundation by TooFaced in the shade vanilla. I figured out that the easiest way to apply foundation is to dot it all over my face and then blend it in. I also blend it down my neck to prevent any harsh foundation lines.
Next step is concealer. The concealer I use is the MAC 'Pro Longwear Concealer' in NC15 . I apply it under my eyes with my finger in a triangle shape to cover up my dark circles. To cover up any spots that I may have, I use the Urban Decay 'Naked Skin Concealer' in light neutral.
Then I like to prime my eyes with the Urban Decay 'Primer Potion' in original. I do this now because then it gets the time to set. While that is setting, I powder my face with the Jane Iredale 'PurePressed Base' in warm sienna (This is a refill product, so basically you have to purchase the powder holder one time and then you can buy refills). It's the perfect foundation powder to give myself some extra coverage. I put it everywhere, except under my eyes. There, I use the Make Up Forever 'HD High Definition Pressed Powder'.
Next up is contouring. I contour my face with the 'Hoola Matte Bronzer' by Benefit. It gives this very natural bronzy look, which I love.

Then it's time for the eyes. First I apply eyeshadows. I do a different look every time. The colors I use depend on how I am feeling, what I am wearing or what look I am going for, for example a smokey eye or a natrual eye. I'm not going to go in detail about this but the pallets I love to use are 'Naked 1,2,3 and Smokey', TooFaced 'Chocolate Bon Bons', the Morphe '35T', the 'Naked Basics' pallet and the TooFaced 'Natrual Matte' palette. Those are a few of my favorites. After eyeshadow I apply eyeliner, I use the Maybelline 'Master Percise Liquid Eyeliner'. I tried a few different eyeliners before, but I keep going back to this one because I find it the easiest to apply. The felt tip really helps to make a smooth wing.
Next step in my routine is spraying the Jane Iredale 'Pommisst Hydration Spray' all over my face. This helps to hydrate your skin underneath all the make-up. I like this a lot because it gives a refreshing feel to your face. This is definitely a step I cannot skip.
After this, it's time for mascara. I always use two. First I apply a couple of coats of the Maybelline 'Lash Sensational' mascara in black on my top lashes and then a couple of coats of the TooFaced 'Better Than Sex' mascara. I also apply this one on my bottom lashes. I sometimes line my waterline with the Urban Decay '24/7 Waterline Eye Pencil' in the shade legend.
The last thing, but surely not the least is highlight and lipstick. I use the MAC 'Soft&Gentle' highlighter. It gives a strong yet natural glow, which I absolutely adore. For lipstick, it depends on what I am wearing or which eye-look I did. I mostly wear MAC lipsticks and on the picture on the right, you can see some of my favs. (Lipsticks in the picture from left to right are: Creme D'Nude, HoneyLove, Snob and Diva)

That was my make-up routine. I don't wear make-up everyday but if I do, I do my make-up like this.

  1. I love the look and packaging of all the bigger, more luxury brands, but sometimes they can get pricey- and quick. My current favourites have been the bareMinerals Complexion Rescue Tined Hydrating Gel Cream (BB cream), and I have to admit- I'm obsessed. It's so light, and leaves my face looking even all day long. Again a little pricey for me at $30, but so so worth it!!

    1. I have an oily T-zone and honestly that foundation doesn't show the oiliness on my face, so I would recommend it.
